The Raptor Recycle and Transfer project was the recipient of the 2022 Excellence in Concrete Awards for Commercial Flatwork from the Concrete Promotional Group. The scope of work included a Scale House that included 2 cast in place crane towers, truck scales, cast in place walls, structural slabs, and slabs on grade as well as typical grade beam and spread footing foundation system for the PEMB structure at the Scale House and Maintenance Buildings. In addition to the two building structures there was approximately 180,000 square feet of 8” reinforced concrete paving. Site concrete also included tank pads, fuel island, pipe bollards and light pole bases.
